Spend a WEEK in PARADISE with new friends, the beach, delicious, fresh, local food, and get into your body in all the juicy ways!
This retreat is great for people who want to explore fitness as a feeling as opposed to a specific way of looking. Enjoy a week of embodiment, physical practice, movement exploration, writing, yoga, nature, and amazing food. Classes will be focused on cultivating a deeper awareness of our bodies through core strengthening, stability, mobility work. No experience neccesary, but it is recommended for people who already have some movement experience and want to have some new challenges.
This retreat will have 2 daily classes – The morning class will be somatic functional movement & fitness designed to make us feel more connected, strong, capable, and fit in our bodies. Afternoon classes will focus on going deeper into movement pathways in a conscious space where we will feel safe to open up into our authentic bodies. This class includes some writing, sharing, and observing in the most loving, non-judgmental setting. Everyone is welcome to be themselves and participate as much or as little as they want.
During the week, we will also have a cacao ceremony and a cold plunge where we can connect to our breath and bodies in new ways. There will also be an option to try aerial arts. Open gym is available outside of class sessions.
Everything is optional and meant to support your authentic embodiment journey. We support you to pick and choose your own adventure or do it all!
When you aren’t practicing, you’ll be eating amazing, healthy food, lounging at the pool, swimming in the ocean, reading in hammocks, and enjoying being in nature. Get ready to move, play, breathe, feel, stretch, and express. At Casa Changoyou are invited to shine and be yourself!
Daily Schedule Sample: Everything is optional!
- 7:30-9 am: Coffee, Tea and Breakfast
- 10am-12pm: Guided Writing followed by Somatic Functional Movement/Fitness Class
- 1pm: Lunch
- 1:30-4:30pm: Pool-time, siesta, relaxing
- 3:30pm: Afternoon Treat
- 4:30-6pm: Movement Pathways Exploration Class
- 7pm Dinner
- 8-10pm Evening activities
Also included is a cacao ceremony, and one ice bath. We will take you to our favorite beaches for swimming, surfing, snorkeling, and releasing baby turtles into the sea. Optional evening adventures include a bioluminescent lagoon & local night market.
